Old Melbourne Goal operated as a prison between 1845 and 1924. The most infamous prisoner was
Ned Kelly, who was executed 11th November 1880. The youngest prisoner recorded, was Michael
Crimmins, 3 years old, who spent 6 months in jail for being idle and disorderly
